Terms of Service.

These Terms govern your use of 1000paths.ai and the related services (the “Service”), operated by Andrew Woods, an individual doing business as “1000paths”(“we,” “us”). 1000paths is a sole proprietorship, not an incorporated company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1000paths analyzes your professional background against aggregated career-trajectory data to show you scores, routes, gaps, and personalized guidance, including an AI coach on certain plans.

1000paths provides informational insights, not professional advice. Scores, routes, timelines, compensation context, and coach responses are data-driven estimates and AI-generated guidance. They are not guarantees of career outcomes, job offers, or salary levels, and they are not legal, financial, or professional career counseling. The decisions are yours.

Compensation figures are drawn from published sources such as U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, are labeled with their source, and describe broad occupational statistics — not what any particular employer will pay you.

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your information accurate and current. One person per account; do not share logins.

You own everything you submit — your resume, career history, goals, and messages (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze it solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit.

Outputs generated for you — tailored resumes, cover letters, draft messages — are yours to use. Review them before you send them; AI -generated content can contain errors.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, bulk-export, or resell the Service or the trajectory data underneath it; use it to build a competing dataset or product; submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains someone else’s personal data without their consent; probe, overload, or circumvent security or usage limits; or access the Service with automated tools except as we explicitly allow. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Free plan. Basic analysis at no cost, subject to usage limits we may adjust.

Paid plans. Pro is $19/month and Max is $39/month, billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Annual pricing is shown at checkout where offered.

The free trial — read this one. The trial is 7 days, and it applies to Max monthly only. No other plan includes a trial. A payment method is collected when the trial starts, and unless you cancel before day 7 the subscription converts automatically to $39/month. Cancel at any point during the trial and you are charged nothing.

Cancellation. Cancel any time in your account settings. You keep paid access through the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate refunds for partial periods except where the law requires it.

Price changes.At least 30 days’ notice before any increase takes effect for you.

Some features are labeled beta or early access. They are provided as-is, may change or disappear, and may be less reliable than the rest of the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

The Service links to third-party resources — courses, books, job listings — and some of those may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, or practices.

The Service — its software, design, trajectory models, scores, and aggregated datasets — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the Service as intended.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scores, recommendations, or AI-generated content are accurate, complete, or will lead to any particular career outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service — in which case paid users get reasonable notice and a prorated refund of prepaid amounts for service not delivered. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits — survive.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the update.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of 1000paths resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We will name a specific state and venue here when 1000paths is incorporated; until then, disputes are resolved under the law of the operator's home state.
